About SCRIBES
Why should I use SCRIBES?
SCRIBES is an AI native meeting platform, hosted in Switzerland. Every meeting comes with a transcript, a summary, action items and Zeta, your AI meeting assistant, and your meetings stay on our own servers in Switzerland.
About SCRIBES ↗Teams, Zoom and Google Meet already offer transcription. How is SCRIBES different?
You can keep using them, and SCRIBES works with all three. The difference is that SCRIBES keeps your meetings from every platform in one Swiss-hosted workspace, where you can search them and ask Zeta about what was said, decided and assigned, with links back to the original words.
Do I have to change how I meet?
No. You can host in SCRIBES Meet, or invite SCRIBES to a Zoom, Teams or Google Meet call by pasting the meeting link.
What are dictations?
Dictations turn one device into a recorder. Press Start dictation to capture your own notes, or a conversation around the table, and SCRIBES transcribes and summarises it.
Zeta
What is Zeta?
Zeta is the AI meeting assistant built into SCRIBES. It answers questions about live and past meetings, helps you find decisions and action items, and can search the web when you need outside context.
How do I use Zeta?
In a meeting, say “Hey Zeta” and ask your question, or type it in the meeting chat. Outside meetings, open Zeta in the menu and ask about your past meetings. Answers link to the place in the transcript where something was said.
Which meetings can Zeta use?
Only meetings you are allowed to see in SCRIBES. Your account, workspace and sharing settings control that.
Your data
Where is my data stored?
Your meetings, notes and summaries are hosted on our own servers in Switzerland. Some supporting services, such as email, payments, analytics and limited backup AI processing, may use other providers. The Security page explains this in detail.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. SCRIBES does not use customer meeting audio, transcripts, summaries or chats to train its AI models.
What happens if I connect ChatGPT or Claude?
It’s your choice, and you can disconnect at any time. Once connected, the meeting content that the AI app reads is shared with that provider and covered by its own policies, not by SCRIBES.
Who can see my meetings, and can I delete them?
Each meeting’s sharing settings decide who can see it, and joining a team doesn’t give everyone access to every meeting. Meeting owners can delete individual meetings.
Plans and pricing
Is SCRIBES free?
Basic is free, with no credit card: unlimited meetings, SCRIBES Meet with you and 3 guests, and the first 30 minutes of each meeting transcribed. Personal and Professional offer a 14-day trial (credit card required). Business and Community packages include 14 days free, with no credit card.
What happens after 30 minutes on Basic?
Transcription pauses, but the meeting continues and audio capture carries on. You can upgrade to unlock the full transcript.
Can my team use it?
Yes. Create an organisation, invite colleagues, and each team member uses one seat. Schools and nonprofits can choose Community plans with a verified .edu or .org email address.
